In my backyard, the Willow Oaks knot their limbs into boughed Basilicas. Shallow beneath the surface (hemmed in by asphalt and gravel), their roots reach out parallel to the drip line of the limbs above. A curtain of nether space defines the parameters: issuing fair warnings to
those who deign enter this implied Cathedral.

Caromming from portal to portal (from project to project), I skitter across the broken pavement of this, My Country. In my expansive backyard, the personalized drip line
becomes inclusive of destination, return and the vastness between.
